The Sundance Channel original scripted series ‘Rectify‘ is looking to fill some open roles for some specific and not so specific types for filming this coming Friday and next Friday in Georgia.
‘Rectify‘ is a series that came out in 2013 and is now filming the second season. The show is about a man who spent 19 years on death row and started a new life when he eventually got out. Daniel Holden was convicted for murder in his teens and DNA evidence gets his conviction vacated…. 19 years later.
Aden Young (Killer Elite) plays the lead as the ex-con who is now adjusting to life after having missed over 1/2 of his. ‘Rectify‘ is directed by Ray McKinnon (Sons of Anarchy). Others in the series are Abigail Spencer and Adelaide Clemens. The show is described as “haunting” and “mesmerizing” as Daniel tries to find himself and make peace with what happened in his past, his uncertainty of the future and face the community that he returns to.
The show’s production team is looking to cast the following:
- African American male 18 years old to look younger (teen look)
- Caucasian Male 18 years old to look younger (teen look)
- Elderly lady and man or elderly couple
- A hippie between the ages of 30 and 50
- A Latino boy that is 9 to 13 years old
- Various bus passengers that can be ages 18 to 80
This is for a 2 day gig that will film on 2 Fridays and those interested should be available on both dates which are the 7th and the 13th.
The scene will be shot on a moving bus and anyone applying should have no issues with the bus movement such as motion sickness.
The scene will film in the Griffin Georgia area. Please only apply if you are local to the area and available to work on the above listed dates.
