Kiss the Limit Productions will be holding auditions tomorrow (Monday, March 3rd) and Wednesday (March 5th) for a film project of the award-winning filmmaker Dehanza Rogers. Rogers has won several awards such as the Grand Prize Student Film Award at the Director’s Guild of America, the Audience Award at the Atlanta Film Festival, and the Best Dramatic Film and Audience Award at the Women in Film and Television Film Showcase.

SYNOPSIS
A mother and sister are left behind and must deal with the consequences of a young man’s fateful decision.

ISHAN
Female / 45 – 60 yrs. / Black
Outgoing and loving mother. Dealing with the disappearance of her son. Actor needs to be able to speak with a noticeable accent. Family is East African (Somali).
SAMUAL
Male / 19 – Early Twenties / Black
Confident and decisive. Born and raised in America to a refugee mother, he struggles with feelings of not being Somali enough, while conflicted about being “the American Child.”
Male / 27 / Arabic
SAHAL
Athletic. Caring, community leader. Has a relationship with a young woman that he’s trying to keep private.
HAWA
Female / 45 – 60 yrs. / Black
Distraught. Her son recently disappeared. We meet her when she’s received word on his disappearance.
