NY/NJ Short Film Dark Blue Casting Lead Roles

Dark Blue Plot: High school senior, Emma Robbins, is unenthused with life in her quiet, small beach town. Her relationships with both her alcoholic mother, Gwen, and boyfriend Sean leave her feeling unfulfilled; so much so that she carries out a secret relationship with a handsome, mysterious (and ultimately dangerous) suitor, Miles. Emma’s interest in Miles grows and she finds herself relying on his attention and passion, but when his affections turn to obsession, will Emma be blinded by his charm and dedication-or will she realize what she’s in for before it’s too late?
We are currently seeking:
Miles: Male lead. Appears 20-25. He should be tall and model-esque with the ability to go from sweet and caring to angry, dark and frightening. Think Ian Somerhalder.
Sean: Male co-star. Has to look like a high school senior. Should be tall. Sean is a good kid who is frustrated with his failing relationship with Emma. Able to portray frustrated easily. Think Ansel Elgort.
Must be available Feb 13-15 and for prior table reads, rehearsals and promotional photo shoots in early to mid January.
