Non-equity paid – The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show Ensemble

Seeking actors and actresses ages 18 and up for hire as company members in The Dinner Detective.

The Dinner Detective, as performed across the country from L.A. to Chicago to Boston is an interactive comedic murder mystery dinner show. It is set in modern day, there are no costumes, and no serving is involved.

Auditioners will need to be able to perform small scripted bits and have the ability to convince audience members they are not actors through natural conversation.

Pay ranges from $40 to $90 per performance, depending on role. Some roles include tips and meals. Roles rotate each performance.

Auditions will take place at the Embassy Suites, Indianapolis Downtown (110 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204) on Sunday, June 14th.

Three time slots are available:

  • 2pm
  • 4pm
  • 6pm

Dinner Detective interactive show

Auditions will consist of small scripted bits, which will be sent to you once you are scheduled, as some exercises to convince audience members you are not actors. Expect to stay no more than 2 hours.

The Dinner Detective performances will typically be held on Saturday nights at the Embassy Suites, with occasional weekday & off-site shows. Call times between 4pm and 5pm. No rehearsals aside from pre-show speed runthrough of script each week. Availability for all Saturdays will not be a determining factor in casting, we will be able to work around conflicts.
