LOCATIONS:
DMJ Studio in Cedarhurst, NY, and various pre-determined locations around the studio
COMPENSATION:
$100 + $10 agent fee (if represented) paid at the end of the workday, meals and snacks will be provided.
WARDROBE / HAIR & MAKEUP:
*Actors will provide their own wardrobe when possible, Production will provide when necessary
*Hair & Makeup will be provided
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An A-team consisting of a first-rate Director, Cinematographer, Writer and Editor are being brought together (at reduced rates) by a veteran producer to help this tremendous cause of helping teens in desperate situations. This scripted (:90) second video is to promote the programs and services of a Jewish nonprofit organization that helps teens at risk. This organization helps teens and young adults overcome serious problems at home, anger issues, behavioral issues and even drug use. This organization is dedicated to helping the Jewish community in particular. As issues of drugs and abuse do not discriminate between rich and poor, we are looking for a variety of “looks” – e.g. the actors do not need to all look like models; we are looking for “real” and “natural” looks. The goal of the producers to is to create an engaging film to help raise critically needed funds for the nonprofit organization.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:
• Seeking: 6 Actors total
• Gender: 3 Males, 3 Females
• Age: 15 – 24 years old
• Ethnicity: Anyone who can appear to be Jewish
• Type/Style: All types are welcome to audition, but Production will add guidelines for wardrobe and styling once chosen
• Skills: Ability to embody the mindset of a troubled youth, ability to speak clearly into camera, memorization, some improvisation.
