Actors and actresses wanted for amazing opportunity aboard the Zombie Train! Both human and zombie characters needed for shows in Willits, CA on Fridays & Saturdays (only) in October the 9th-31st.

We seek people with prior acting experience who are energetic, reliable, and possess the ability to interact with guests and improv. Must be 16 or older to apply due to national railroad regulations. Actors will mostly work Friday and Saturday nights. All cast members will be paid.
Our 40-minute show is performed aboard a moving train equipped with special effects. While we have some surprises and scares along the way, the show also includes humor and avoids excessive gore. The show is based on the “Zombie Train” comic book. All four main characters can utilize a combination of serious dialogue with humorous comments.
Characters for the trains:
BYRON is a part of the militia. He is responsible for the safety of the guests before they board the train. This character will interact and entertain 100+ guests while they wait. Speaking to the entire crowd or other times with small groups, Byron provides the backstory of the train, tell stories, and jokes with guests.
The headstrong SARGE is in charge of safety on the train, and he isn’t happy with how things develop. His character combines a fun mixture of intensity and paranoia as he seeks out the infected on the train. Should be comfortable independently performing to a car full of guests.
The female character DOC looks after the health of the passengers… just hope that she doesn’t suspect you having the virus. She is also rumored to have a few experimental zombies that she is trying to domesticate. Should be comfortable independently performing to a car full of guests.
The CONDUCTOR narrates the trip and guides the action throughout the train. He will narrate scenes over the public address system, utilize our new cameras & monitors, provide fun updates about what is happening in this apocalyptic world and really set the tone for the show.
And of course… ZOMBIES (20+ needed)

Before applying make sure that you are available on most dates. We plan to have two people per character so you don’t have to be available for every performance.
