The indie film project “Alive or Living” is about to begin production in the New York city area and has a casting call out for local actors that would like to join the project.
Then project will be submitted to film festivals and is directed by an award-winning film maker. Currently, the film project is seeking an older Asian actress to play the role of a grandmother. This is a lead role and accepting submissions from actresses ages 55 to 90. Also, they are seeking to fill a few featured roles in a beach scene. Actors would be playing friends. The roles are requesting actors ages 26 to 33 with some acting experience and improv skills.
The project is being produced by Forget Me Not Productions and will film in NYC. Please see the casting notice below for the character breakdowns.

FRIENDS: male and females, any ethnicities, ages 26-33. Featured in several scenes with our lead at a gathering on the beach. Improv skills a must. Looking for quirky, interesting types.
