Season three of TURN: Washington’s Spies is filming in Central Virginia and casting people who want to work as paid background actors.
“Turn“, The AMC show about the Revolutionary War, just began production on the new season and is looking to cast locals who would love to work as paid extras on the show.
“Turn: Washington’s Spies” is inspired by Alexander Rose’s book Washington’s Spies. The series focuses on America’s first spy ring, the Culper Ring which is made up of young men who live in British occupied territories during the Revolutionary war and risk their lives to help get information to Washington in an effort to turn the tides. The historical drama centers on Abe Woodhull (Jamie Bell), a farmer living in Long Island who is part of this unlikely team of secret agents.
TURN: Washington’s Spies stars Jamie Bell, Seth Numrich, Heather Lind, Daniel Henshall, Meegan Warner, Kevin R. McNally, Burn Gorman , Angus Macfadyen and JJ Feild. The show is written by Craig Silverstein and executive produced by Barry Josephson for AMC Studios. Season 2 of “Turn: Washington’s Spies” will premiere on AMC in the spring of 2015.
