Male and Female Dancers for Beauty and Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage and Festival of the Lion King
Disney is casting dancers for their Walt Disney World productions of Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage and Festival of the Lion King. Auditions will be held in NYC at Pearl Studios on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Auditions for the Disney show are for performances that will be held at the Walt Disney World Park in the Orlando Florida area.

Dancers, Thursday, March 19, 2015 – sign in at 9:00 AM. Auditions will begin at 10:00 AM.
Disney Creative Entertainment is seeking male and female dancers for Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage; a cast of dancers and singers who create a dazzling stage show that invites you to “Be Our Guest” at Theatre of the Stars in the Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ and Festival of the Lion King; an African-inspired celebration of the music from the feature film. This original musical theatre production will be performed live in the NEW state of the art, indoor, 1500 seat theatre-in-the-round in Disney’s Animal Kingdom®. Both are performed live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.
Seeking the following roles:
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
Dancers – Male and Female dancers that have strong ballet technique and are well versed in musical theatre style dance; acting ability a plus; must be able to lip sync. Females 5’6″-5’9″ and Males 5’10”-6’0″.
Festival of the Lion King
Maji – Female dancer 5’1″ to 5’4″ with excellent ballet technique, strong partnering skills and the ability to perform at heights. Must weigh less than 110 lbs.
Moto – Male dancer 5’10” and above, with excellent ballet technique, lift/partnering skills and strong athletic build.
Requirements:
Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.

All dancers will be taught a ballet routine. Selected dancers will move on to an advanced jazz routine.
Dancers should be warmed up and ready to begin at the time listed. Please wear form fitting attire to show your silhouette. Please wear appropriate ballet/jazz shoes.
Potential relocation packages may be available to qualified performers that are hired into specific roles. Dancers employed with the Walt Disney World® Resort are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with Actors’ Equity Association.
