Musical Theater auditions in Wisconsin “Hair”

Production will be holding auditions for the full length musical. Auditions are scheduled to take place in Kenosha Wisconsin during the first week of December. Seeking to cast 8 main roles, 4 male and 4 fgemale plus ensemble. ALL roles are adult only (18+). Auditions will be by appointment only. “Hair” received Tony Award recognition in 1968 for Best Musical (Nominee) and 2009 for Best Revival of a Musical (Musical). This exuberant musical about a group of hippies searching for truth, peace and love is as vital and relevant today as it was when it opened in 1967. Phenomenal musical numbers, including Aquarius, Good Morning Starshine, I Believe in Love, and What a Piece of Work Is Man bring meaningful beauty and incredible power to the stage in this classic American musical that always feels new.

Plus ensemble “tribe” of at least one dozen men / women

Performances:
March 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm

Preparation:

16 bars of a song of your choice (preferably not from Hair)
Please provide your sheet music for the accompanist. NO ACCAPELLA.

Those invited to callbacks will choose from a list of songs from the show, will read and sing in groups.
