Casting one male singer/actor of color for “Hacked: The Treasure Of the Empire,” an original, experimental piece of theater with a full musical score, performed on the deck and rigging of our 90 ft. sailing ship, the Amara Zee.
A merry band of Pirate Hackers has stolen the treasure of the greedy Mammon Corp. Regime, intending to redistribute the wealth amongst the people. The Mammons must get it back at all costs, or else their empire will collapse.
This original Caravan fantasy is inspired by real world events. It explores the quest for freedom of expression in political and social discourse; it examines the ubiquitous presence of the machinations of surveillance and probes the ethics of the dissolution of the public, democratic control over the justice and penal systems.

Interviews may be conducted via Skype if necessary.
Rehearses Apr. 27-June 5 in Brooklyn, NY; runs June 17-October 20 to waterfront communities in US and Canada along the rivers, canals and lakes, sailing & performing throughout the entire journey.
PAYMENT: Small stipend; full bed and board throughout rehearsals and tour; travel expenses; equal share of any box office profits.
