FILM DESCRIPTION: -A coming of age science fiction drama about two brothers, set in a post war era. The story follows the relationship between the two brothers and a close friend as they discover an ancient devise that threatens to bring back the war that destroyed the planet a long time ago.
THOMAS age: 15-20 male Our main character, a smart young man – ready to change the world. He’s willing to do everything to survive and support his family.
LUCAS age: 10-15 male Thomas’ brother. He looks up to him as a fatherly figure.
MOTHER age: 40-50 female Lucas’ and Thomas’ mother. A capable woman – takes care of their household.
ALICE age: 15-20 female Thomas’ best friend. Maybe the only person in the world that understands him.
MARK age: 15-20 male Alice’s older brother. A smart guy that’s willing to break the rules to get what he wants.
5 SOLDIERS age: 23-30 male and/or female
Auditions will take place on 2/18/15 and 2/19/15 from 7pm to 10pm both days at the Mundelein Center for Fine and Performing Arts at Loyola University Chicago’s Lakeshore Campus (1020 W. Sheridan Rd. Chicago, IL 60660).
Actors are asked to bring a headshot and resume to the audition. All actors under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Auditions will be improv based.
