The Doug Liman film “Mena” which stars Tom Cruise is in production in Georgia and casting some gorgeous stewardess types.
“Mena” is filming this summer around the Atlanta area and Central Casting has a casting call out for background talent to play stewardesses. The film’s extras casting directors are seeking beautiful women ages 20 to 30 something who are 5’5″ or taller and a size 6 for a scene filming next Tuesday. The film is looking for talent who has never worked on the film and available in the Atlanta area. “Mena” is also casting teens, tourist types, Hispanic men, and others.
The film is set in the 70s and 80s during the events that led up to the Iran Contra Scandal which rocked the Reagan administration. THR reports that “Mena” will focus on an ex navy seal / fired TWA pilot who gets recruited by the CIA to fly planes smuggling contraband through South America. The film is set in the 80s when United States government officials sold arms to Iran even though there was an embargo. “Mena” will be directed by Doug Liman and is written by Gary Spinelli. Joining Tom Cruise in the cast are Jayma Mays and Sarah Wright. The movie is being produced by Cross Creek Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.

You cannot have worked the movie MENA yet to be considered for this. There will also be a fitting for this either Friday 6/19 or Monday, 6/22.

For the movie, MENA, we are taking submissions for an elderly Colombian looking woman who appears to be in her late 70s or older. You will be in your underwear (full coverage – no nudity) with drugs strapped to you.
