Casting Call for “Alvin & The Chipmunks 4: Road Chip” in ATL

The new “Alvin and the Chipmunks” movie is about to begin filming in the Atlanta area and they need lots of extras.

The film is seeking to cast Atlanta locals to fill a variety of small, extras roles in the film. They need extras for a party scene, a recording studio, a country bar, a Miami hotel, NOLA types and concert audience. “Alvin and the Chipmunks 4” will begin filming the scenes in mid March. All roles are 18+.

According to reports, Walt Becker is directing the 4th film in the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise. The film will be a combination of live action and CGI. The scheduled release date for the Chipmunks movie is around Christmas time, December 23, 2015.

The movie’s IMDB page states that…. Matthew Gray Gubler  will voice Simon, Justin Long  will take on Alvin and Theodore will be voiced by Jesse McCartney.  According to the 20th Century Fox description of the plot, a string of misunderstandings causes Alvin, Simon and Theodore to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City… and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.
