My Blind Brother” is written and directed by Sophie Goodhart and is based on a short film of the same name from a decade ago. The comedy stars Adam Scott, Nick Kroll & Jenny Slate.

My Blind Brother” is about two brothers who fall for the same woman (Jenny Slate). Adam Scott plays the older brother who is an athletic, ladies man and blind. Nick Kroll will play his younger brother. “My Blind Brother” begins filming in the Greater Cleveland area this May.

According to a local Cleveland news site, the film is backed by Chagrin Falls-based Low Spark Films and Mayfield Heights-based Think Media Studios.  Tyler Davidson  will produce along with with Tory Tunnell. Low Sparks’ Kevin Flanigan and Safehouse Pictures Joby Harold are executive producers with Joseph E. LoConti.

In an interview with the films producer, Tyler Davidson, he called “My Blind Brother” a “comedy with a heart.” “These are three of the top-of-the-moment comic talents going right now,” Davidson said. “Really, I would have come on board if it was the three of them reading the phone book. When I saw Jenny Slate in ‘Obvious Child,’ I was just floored by her.”
