Empire is filming season 2 in Chicago and casting directors are seeking lots of local talent for open roles this week.
4 Star Casting in Chicago just released some new casting calls for talent to work as paid extras on Empire. They have a rush call out for folks to play NYC residents as well as casting gangster types and others for scenes filming this week.
Season 2 of Empire just premiered on FOX but is still in production for new episodes. Empire is described as a sexy and powerful drama about the inner workings of a Hip Hop record label that is helmed by a Lucious Lyon (played by Terrence Howard), a man with a troubled past that came up from the streets of Chicago to found his own music label. The family’s music empire will find itself in a power struggle over control when Lucius finds out that his health is deteriorating and he must now groom his successor and must pick from one of his 3 sons to replace him as the head of the business. “Empire” also stars Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere Gray, Jussie Smollett and Gabourey Sidibe.
All roles listed below are non-speaking extra roles and talent must live in the Chicago area in order to be considered.

This is a role. Not a real job as a prostitute. Just want to be clear there. We need women who are comfortable portraying this. You would be on the street, so no real “activity” will be necessary. It is more of a look.
