Want to get cast in a small role on FOX’s TV Show “Gotham”?
Here you go… The show’s extras casting directors at GWC in NYC are looking for talent to play female gangsters. If you can pull off that look and live in the NYC area you can apply directly to be considered for the paid roles.
The new season of “Gotham” is now filming new episodes and has an upcoming scene which is currently casting female talent to play gangsters. The show is seeking adults in the area who are available to work as background actors on set this coming Monday, the 7th. NYC area talent and those wanting to make some extra cash by doing some background work are welcome to submit their photos and contact info directly to the show’s casting team for consideration. The roles are paid and those cast on the series can expect to make around minimum wage with a possibility of overtime if the shoot goes over 8 hours. Travel expenses will not be covered so the casting directors are only seeking talent who live in New York City or nearby areas. The new season of “Gotham,” called “Rise of the Villains, ” promised even more villains and they seem to be delivering on that promise. Detective Gordon has his hands full this season. The show brings in two iconic villains from the Batman franchise… the Joker character and the chilly, Mr. Freeze is coming up in 2016. According to Cinemablend, Clayface and the Mad Hatter are also making an appearance. During the last comic con, the show’s producers commented….. “The stakes are higher than ever as Gotham explores the origin stories of some of the most ambitious and depraved Super Villains, including The Riddler, The Joker and Mr. Freeze. ”
“Gotham” is scheduled to run 22 episodes which happen to be split into 2 blocks. If you are unfamiliar with the show… “GOTHAM” is the origin story of the great DC Comics characters. In “Gotham,” Batman is still a child who has just suffered the murder of his parents. The series focuses on what happens in Gotham City before Bruce Wayne even became the vigilante known as Batman. “Gotham’s” main character is not Batman, it’s Detective Gordon who along with his partner, try to put a dent in the crime rate. The show follows Gordon’s rise on the police force as he proves himself out on the street. “Gotham” will return with all new episodes in February 2016.
