‘Shameless‘ is coming back for a new season and now casting for small roles.
The new season is now in production and Chicago area locals have a chance to join in the ‘Shameless’ craziness as paid background actors of the hit show. Chicago’s Atmosphere Casting is seeking background actors to play college aged sorority girls. See below for all the details.
‘Shameless‘ focuses on the very dysfunctional Gallagher family. At the head of the Gallaghers is Frank, played by William H. Macy. Emmy Rossum plays Fiona, Jeremy Allen White plays Philip “Lip” Gallagher, Ethan Cutkosky is Carl Gallagher, Emma Kenney as Debbie Gallagher and Cameron Monaghan as Ian Gallagher. The show also stars Shanola Hampton as Veronica “V” and Steve Howey as Kevin “Kev” Ball.
Fans of the show have been hooked on the craziness for 5 seasons now and season 5 ended with quite a few cliffhangers. The series is filled with “WTF” moments and every episode brings it on…. ‘Shameless‘ is based on the award-winning British series created by Paul Abbott. Frank Gallagher is the father of 6 kids he can’t really take care of. While he spends his days getting drunk, the kids fend for themselves. The black comedy includes lots of drama… illegal activities, arrests, drunken mishaps, failed relationships and many other ‘Shameless’ moments. During the Television Critics Association Press tour, the network announced that season 6 of ‘Shameless’ will premiere early next year on January 17, 2016.
‘Shameless‘ is executive produced by John Wells, Andrew Stearn, Nancy M. Pimental, Davey Holmes, Christopher Chulack, Krista Vernoff and producer Michael Hissrich.
