Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures have a new TMNT movie coming out next year and casting some extras.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell” is filming in the New York City area this spring. According to Variety.com, Platinum Dunes will again produce with Michael Bay named as the producer. Screenwriters Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec will be returning for the new TMNT flick. “Arrow” star Stephen Amell has landed the role of Casey Jones and Megan Fox will be playing April. According to Variety, David Green will be directing. The popular Paramount franchise racked in 191 million with the previous “Ninja Turtles” movie.
The new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie will star Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Megan Fox, Alessandra Ambrosio, Alan Ritchson, Will Arnett, Danny Woodburn and Tohoru Masamune will play Shredder. According to the movie’s IMDB page, the turtles return to protect the city from a new threat. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in about a year, June 2016.
GWC in NYC is casting the background actors for the film and they currently need men and women in the New York area to play street pedestrians in a scene filming this Wednesday.
