Casting for “Empire” – Extras Wanted in Chicago for Hip Hop Concert Scene & Other Small Roles

Looking to find out how to get cast in a small role on “Empire”?

You’re in luck because the show is now filming season 2 in the Chicagoland area and is looking for locals who would like to work as paid extras on “Empire“.

CASTING CALL for EMPIRE.

The FOX hit series, “Empire,”  is now filming season 2 in the Chicago area and has casting calls out for talent to appear in the show.  The show’s extras casting directors are seeking talent to play music bloggers on the show.  Also, there is another casting call out for “Empire”  looking for Hip Hop concert gooers.  The show films in the Chicago area and the casting directors are only considering background talent that is local to the area. All roles are paid and you can see the details as well as submission instructions below.

The popular FOX show takes viewers behind the scenes of a family run music label, Empire Entertainment. At the helm is Lucious, a self made music mogul played by Terrence Howard. The music oriented drama focuses on Lucious and his family as they struggle with daily affairs and personal relationships. The series also stars Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere Y. Gray, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers, Grace Gealey, Malik Yoba, Kaitlin Doubleday, Ta’Rhonda Jones and Gabourey Sidibe.  The drama in the family increases as Lucious learns that he must find his successor following a devastating medical diagnosis which gives him limited time.  Adding to the drama is the return of his ex-wife Cookie who is now back to get her piece of the pie as well. The show first premiered on FOX in January 2015 and is written by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, the team behind “Lee Daniels: The Butler“.

Male & Female, ALL ETHNICITY, ages 21-35, hip, urban looks, hip hop looks, real bloggers are encouraged to apply.
We are looking to build a core group of “Press” to include blogger types. These photos will be submitted to the producers and they will make the final decision on who will be part of this core group.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you have been on the show, We need to know what roles you have played. If you are part of another Core group, do NOT submit for this.
