Dallas Zoo, inspiring passion for Nature and Conserving Wildlife, is hosting the Giants of Jurassic exhibit; Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live, beginning in April 2015.
Looking for creative individuals with puppetry experience to operate a variety of mechanized puppets in Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live show. T-Rex puppeteers must be very fit and able to wear a 90lb back pack puppet for 15 minutes several times a day and be between 5’10” and 6’4”.
Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo live is looking for Puppeteers who are:
- Performers with Puppetry, Dance, or Movement experience
- Team Players
- Outgoing personalities who enjoy working with families and children
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Comfortable with learning and performing proper puppet maintenance
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Auditions held in March at the Dallas Zoo by appointment.
