“The Host” is a special character who is not in the script itself but scripted separately as an aside. Collaboration with the artistic director and production director will determine much of the scripting making this role personalized.
This person will be highly interactive with the audience similar to an MC but also interacts with the actors during the show. This character represents our company, informing the audience of who we are and why we are unique and we will incorporate the skills and talents of the actor giving them lots of opportunity to shine as a performer.
Improvisation, MC/Entertainer, Clown or Magician experience with special skills is a big plus.
