Casting call for speaking roles and extras in Cleveland Ohio
Nicolas Cage and Willem Dafoe are set to Star in Paul Schrader’s ‘Dog Eat Dog’, a movie based on Eddie Bunker’s popular crime novel of the same name. The movie will be in production in Ohio and Ohio talent has a chance to be cast in a speaking role in the film. Cleveland area casting directors at OPA will be handling both principal casting and extras casting.
The Cleveland Film office announced that ‘Dog Eat Dog‘ will be beginning production in the Cleveland Ohio area shortly and is now taking submissions from local talent to fill both principal / speaking roles and extra roles. OPA Casting will be casting principles and extras for ‘DOG EAT DOG’ which is written and directed by Paul Schrader. ‘Dog Eat Dog‘ will be produced by Mark Earl Burman and David Hillary of Pure Dopamine. Executive Producers are Gary Hamilton, Don Rivers, Tim Peternel, Shaun Redick and Ray Mansfield.
‘Dog Eat Dog‘ is described as a crime thriller about three ex-cons who decide to do a job together. The story is set in Los Angeles where the 3 ex-cons are hired to pull off a kidnapping. Kidnapping doesn’t go as planned and the botched crime spirals out of control as the trio finds themselves on the run. With California’s tough three strikes laws looming over them, the three men will try to avoid prison at all costs.

I’ll bet all her people got the extra parts for background people that do nothing but be part of the background, like walking wondering fools.
That’s not the way you run a ligit casting business, but the dumb locals in Ohio are too stupid to know that.
In the real world, you have an agent, when they send you to work, then they get paid and you don’t do any of that!
They may be skimming off the top, but I didn’t know it.
I came back to Cleveland in the 80s, with a union card, but no one would talk to me, maybe there was no one to talk to besides the modeling agencies.
