A reckless teen discovers the world of glass art while striving to learn if manhood is passed on from one’s father or learned first-hand over time.
Production is seeking the following roles:
WILL
(lead) male/ 13-18/ African¬ American
A young man struggling to find self worth and lacks direction in life.
GLORIA
(supporting) female/ 30-40/ African American
Although at times distant as a mother to Will, she finds nothing else more important than her son and continuously puts in the effort.
RITA
(featured) female/ 40s/ African ¬American A former debutante and a member of the black elite who married a military man for love.
SKIP
(supporting) male/ 13 -18/ African American
Will’s friend.
MAESTRO
(featured) male/ 60s/ Italian
A master glassblower/ mentor figure to Will.
His mind is on his legacy and passing his techniques onto the next generation.
ERIC
(supporting) male/ 25-30/ any ethnicity Ambitious, goofy, blue collar. Leader/ big brother figure. Works at the glass studio.
COP
(supporting) male/ 35-50/ any ethnicity
Rough cop with a poor attitude.
