Chicago Casting Call for Melissa McCarthy New Movie “Michelle Darnell”

Now casting extras for Universal Pictures Comedy “Michelle Darnell” starring  Melissa McCarthy, “Game of Thrones” Peter Dinklage, and Kathy Bates.

“Michelle Darnell”  is filming this spring and seeking non-union extras to play baseball players in a scene filming at Sox Stadium this May. The film’s extras casting directors are seeking male background actors between the ages of 20 and 35 to portray major league ball players. Men must have an athletic physique and prior baseball experience is a plus. The scenes will be filming on the 12th and 13th of May and there will a fitting the prior week that talent cast will need to attend.

“Michelle Darnell” stars Melissa McCarthy as Michelle Dranell. The film is about an industry big shot that is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading. When she emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart, not everyone she screwed over is so quick to forgive and forget. According to the movie’s IMDB page, also starring in the feature are Peter Dinklage, Kristen Schaal, Kristen Bell, Kathy Bates and Tyler Labine.  According to a Variety report, the project is based on a character created by Melissa McCarthy. “Michelle Darnell” will be written by Ben Falcone, Melissa McCarthy and Steve Mallory. Ben Falcone will be directing the comedy. The film is set to be released in theaters on April 6, 2016.

5) Confirm that you are available all dates, and you either have your own transportation or can make your own arrangements for transportation if the location is outside of the city.
