Guys and Dolls Auditions at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center

The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center is happy to announce auditions for its upcoming production of GUYS AND DOLLS, directed by Producing Artistic Director, Scott RC Levy.
Auditions will be held on Monday, February 9, from 5 to 9PM at the Fine Arts Center (located at 30 West Dale Street). To sign up for an audition time and receive materials you will need to prepare for the audition, email Nathan Halvorson at nhalvorson@csfineartscenter.org
We are currently casting the following roles (any other roles not listed below have already been cast):
Nicely-Nicely Johnson: (M, 30-50). Tenor to high B flat.
Benny Southstreet: (M, 30-50). Baritone to high G.
Arvide Abernathy: (M, 55+). Older, wiser, leader of the Salvation Army in Times Square.
Hot Box Girls/Salvation Army/Female Ensemble: (F, 20-60). Looking for 8 women to play these parts, these dolls will play multiple roles in New York, Havana, and the Salvation Army. Variety of ages in this chorus line. Bring it ladies! Make ‘em drool! Salvation Army Girls: Looking for 3. Stage age 25 to 70. General Cartwright will be chosen from this group.
The Guys: (M, 20-70): Looking for somewhere between 10 and 14 men to play “The Guys” A variety of voices, ages and types from which will come Angie the Ox, Rusty Charlie, Big Jule, Lt. Brannigan and the other characters from Damon Runyon’s stories.
Rehearsals for this production will begin the week of April 20th, with performances currently planned between May 21 and June 14. We are only casting non-equity performers at this time. All positions are paid.
