Be an extra on “Vampire Diaries“
The new season of CW’s supernatural themed drama series is beginning production in Atlanta this month and there is a casting call out for extras to fill small roles in the season 7 premiere. “Vampire Diaries” is looking to cast adults ages 18 to 50 living in the Atlanta area. The casting directors are seeking background actors who would’t mind getting a bit bloody and are currently casting the roles of police, residents of Mystic Falls, doctors, nurses, hipster types, Dutch folks and more. The first episode of the new season will film between the 10th and 23rd of this month.
The “Vampire Diaries” is a supernatural / Fantasy drama series that focuses on a group of Vampires living in the fictional town of Mystic Falls. The series was developed for the CW Network by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The “Vampire Diaries” TV show is based on the novels of the same name by L. J. Smith. The show has been quite successful and spawned a spin-off series called ‘The Originals” in 2013. Both shows will premiere this fall on the CW Network.
Casting directors for the show will only be considering extras who live in or around the Atlanta area. Please only apply if you are local since no travel expenses are being paid.

URBAN PATRONS (new faces preferred) — Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, age 18 – 35 — looking for urban/hipster types; stylish clothing
DOCTORS/NURSES/EMT — Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, age 24 – 50
WOMAN — Any Ethnicity, age 38 – 50
HOMELESS MAN — Any Ethnicity, age 28 – 45 — looking for character type, rough appearance, if you are ok with getting bloodied, please note in your submission
MYSTIC FALLS RESIDENTS — Any Ethnicity, ages 18 – 50 — if you are ok with getting wet/bloodied and/or lying on the ground, please note in your submission
Rate is $60/8; overtime after 8hrs, and any appropriate bumps will be added.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be mindful of the photos you submit. These photos are sometimes sent to the Directors and Producers to make choices. A lot of times we can’t submit people because their photo isn’t appropriate for the role submitted for, we can’t clearly see the person in the picture, picture is of poor quality, etc. A current candid photo taken on a camera phone in good lighting is sufficient majority of the time.
