New Mexico auditions for kids
New Mexico casting directors will be holding auditions for kids, boys 7 to 9 years old for a feature film titled “Cortez” that will be shooting this fall.
Robert Baxter casting is seeking a boy to fill a main role. They are seeking a child who has light colored hair, blonde or a redhead. Parents interested in submitting their boy may follow the directions below to submit their son’s photos and info to the casting directors.
“Cortez” – Our story is about two people, Jesse and Anne, once lovers, who find each other again after ten years. Jesse has become a semi-famous musician and Anne has all but disappeared in a tiny mountain town in Northern New Mexico: Cortez.
After a motorcycle accident and a failed mission to find himself, Jesse goes to Cortez to seek out Anne. When he knocks on her door, a ten year old boy answers. A boy that looks just like him.
Inspired by the great American relationship dramas of the 1970’s and 1980’s, Cortez is a classic story of love and redemption. It’s a story about how the life we plan is never as rewarding as the life that surprises us.
