Looks like Mr. Freeze will be joining the villains in FOX’s “Gotham” TV series and a call is out for ‘frozen’ performers.
The new season of the show is now filming and the season’s promos promised many well known Batman villains to make their appearances. Mr. Freeze will be spreading around some frozen chaos. A new casting call for the Batman inspired crime drama is looking to cast mimes and statue performers to play frozen police officers in an upcoming episode of the show.
The new season of “Gotham” is now filming in the New York City area. Casting directors at GWC are looking to cast statue performers and mimes for a scene that will require them to stand absolutely still for several minutes or longer. Talent will be playing frozen police officers.
Earlier this month, EW reported that the icy villain in Gotham will be played by House of Cards actor Nathan Darrow. Kristen Hager (Being Human), has joined the cast as Nora Freeze. According to EW, a FOX Network exec commented on the casting and character… “As her condition worsens and her husband becomes more desperate to save her life, Nora must make the ultimate choice: play the willing participant in Victor’s mad plan or sacrifice herself to stop the monster inside of him.” In the comics, Nora was happily married to Victor Freeze. After contracting a terminal illness, Victor Freeze froze Nora in hopes of saving her life one day. After losing Nora, Victor became mad and took the villainous path to becoming Mr. Freeze. According to TV Line, the November 30th episode will be one that Batman fans will be talking about. That particular episode will be the one that promises to introduce Mr. Freeze.

Seeking real mimes or statue performance artists to portray frozen cops on the FOX series Gotham. Must be okay being completely still for several minutes like an immobile mannequin. This shoots on a tbd date between 11/12-11/24.

The Batman inspired series tells the backstory to many of the popular heroes and villains in the Batman franchise. During the last comic con, the show’s producers commented “The stakes are higher than ever as Gotham explores the origin stories of some of the most ambitious and depraved Super Villains, including The Riddler, The Joker and Mr. Freeze. ” The new season is being described as the season “of the villains” and premiered a few months back. The show has some major episodes lined up this month for November sweeps that promise tons of action.
