Musician/Actor for unique, artistic short film project

LEE Lead, male, 25-40, any ethnicity MUST BE VERY TALENTED & PASSIONATE MUSICIAN who can play guitar, sing, and act. Long hair & beard is a plus. Lee is initially perceived as a helpless vagabond, but later emerges with brilliance, grace, and a deep soul. A crowd forms to watch, enchanted, as he plays his music on the beach in 1969. Looking for someone whose music already reflects the aesthetics of this period, or who is enthusiastic about collaborating with production on an original ‘60s style score. If talent has access to a studio or the ability to record, please state in notes section.
NOTE: 3-4 days shooting. Possible pickup day. Extra time to record if necessary. Very creative & interesting project, the second Super 8 film for the filmmaker, and the last was like nothing the crew or cast had ever been a part of before.
Shooting on Super 8 brings unique challenges and demands a slower pace. We are looking patience, commitment, and passion to drive this film through to completion.
