“Most people feel that a relationship has to be last long to be great. Now I’m not knocking high school sweethearts falling in love and dying when you’re both 108, you know that’s great…but…I think there’s a different kind of love. There is a difference between a one night and saying I do. For me…maybe if love is quick we don’t have time to find the faults in it. Because in my life that’s where true love is found. Between the lines of titles, between the lines of a quote end quote “relationship.” And for a long time I thought that was a problem, or that made me a creep. But along the way, with a couple stumbles I realized that looking for love is about opening yourself up to love. And if it’s quick, well…maybe that’s worth it. If it’s quick, then, of course it’s worth it. That it was quick may be why it was worth it.”
My name is Thaddeus McCants (Thaddeusmccants.com.) I am a Brooklyn based actor who grew up in Madison. Last year I came into town to work on a film project with a friend of mine from Madison Michael Doyle Olsen (http://www.mdo.me/.) The project went well, so well in fact that we decided to do a expanded and fully realized version of the project this DECEMBER.
Quick is the story of two people who meet and fall in love under finite circumstances. Unpretentiously asking the question “how long does love need to last to be called love?”

Young Woman—LEAD—Any Ethnicity:
A bartender in the Young Man’s hometown. A smart, sharp-tongued, modern day Beatrice, she is in control over every situation she’s in and it shows. A big fish in a little pond, she’s looking for a way out but too afraid to leave where she is comfortable.
