CASTING CALL for a new production “MENTAL, the Musical”. Auditions will be held on Wednesday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Studio 1 in Burlington, NC. Compensation provided for doing this show.
In this two-act musical comedy, an eccentric 70 year-old, a menopausal 50 year-old and an insecure gothic twenty-something are fed up with the real world and decide to check in to a psychiatric “relaxation home,” the Sunshine House, in hopes of disappearing instead of mental healing. But when a bedbug infestation takes over their individual living quarters, and they are forced to live in a common space, things get-a-bit “insane” as they search for mental healing and their purpose in life.
COMPENSATION:
Yes, for Principal roles.
Mental is an inclusive production. Our aim is to get the best and the brightest from the diverse theatre community here in the greater Triad/Triangle area. Actors are expected to participate in a preliminary workshop, rehearsals and all performances. NON EQUITY SHOW.
