??Casting call for a short film to be shot in Miami, Florida.
The following roles are needed for a short film project. The film will be shot on the weekend of November 13th (Friday to Sunday) with a small but experienced crew. This is a collaboration among experienced filmmakers working on an interesting drama that takes place in the 70s adapted from a well-known short story by the famous Argentinian writer Julio Cortazar. All the roles need to speak Spanish (Argentinian or Chilean preferably, non-union)

THE STORY
?The year, 1974. Marcos, a door-to-door salesman is traveling from one town to another. Late in the night, he picks up a hitchhiker on the road, a young woman named Maria.
Two opposites meet on a road, getting a taste of a life once left behind.
CHARACTER BIOS
MARCOS
Male, early to mid-40s. Well groomed, professional.
Marcos is a door-to-door salesman who works between towns in an unknown region. His marriage ended recently and he feels he is reaching the end of his life in a way he had never expected.

MARIA
Female, 18-22 years old. Strikingly beautiful, long hair, natural looks but disheveled.
Maria is a hitchhiker traveling with the purpose of meeting a group of hippie friends. She is going at her own pace, meeting strangers along the way.
RECEPTIONIST
Female, 45-50 years old.
The receptionist works in the overall maintenance of the building, not just the reception of the motel.
MARLENE
Female, late 30s. Beautiful, elegant, everything that can be expected from a housewife of the time.
LADY
Female, late 50s/early 60s.
MAN
Male, late 50s/early 60s.
