“Miracles From Heaven” Starring Queen Latifah Casting Lots of Kids & Teens in Atlanta

There is a new casting call out for the feature film “Miracles from Heaven” starring Jennifer Garner  and Queen Latifah.

The Christian focused film is beginning production in the Atlanta, Georgia area and has released a new casting call for kids ages 5 to 14. The project is looking to fill some featured roles as well as general extras. Tammy Smith Casting is seeking kids with a “suburban” look of all ethnicities. “Miracles From Heaven” begins filming on the 13th of this month and kids cast will be needed to work on set sometime between the 13th of this month and end of August.

Sony Pictures has cast Jennifer Garner  and Queen Latifah for the film. Following the success of the Christian drama “Heaven is For Real,”  Sony tapped “Heaven is For Real”  producers Joe Roth, Devon Franklin and T.D. Jakes for the new film. Patricia Riggen will be directing the project. “Miracles From Heaven”  will be released through TriStar Pictures in March 2016, just in time for the Easter Holiday.

Casting for Kids – Boys & Girls, ages 5 – 14!
TWO TYPES/GROUPS of KIDs:

Group 1: nice school kids, neighbors, friends of our lead family, etc… Think of a smaller, rural/suburban community in Texas – pleasant types, all-american looks, etc.. think “suburban”
-These kids will be Caucasian and Hispanic, mostly, but all ethnicities can apply.

Group 2: sick kids, for our hospital scenes we will make some kids look sick, but skinny kids or kids with real illnesses, etc… are ideal for this).
-A mix of ethnicities for this

IMPORTANT NOTES

– Filming starts July 13 – Aug. 28th – these types will work a variety of days within the schedule- Starting on 7/13 & 7/14
– WORK DATES will be determined as we get closer…
HOWEVER in the meantime, , we need to do a presentation for the director to select the faces she likes and wants, and they want current photos… for the “real” feel.

-NOTE: If your child has a RESUME or ACTING experience, please attach it in the email submission or briefly explain their experience in film, television, theater or commercials. Experience is not required, but some will be featured and will need acting ability.
