MTV’s “Scream” Series Call for Extras in LA

By | July 3, 2015

MTV’s new TV series based on the “Scream” franchise is now filming in Baton Rouge.

The show is seeking people available to work as background extras this week as well as in the next month or so. Central casting in LA seeks talent to fill the below listed roles and also has an upcoming open call coming up this weekend for talent that would like to be considered to work as extras on the “Hush” series as well as other projects now filming. All roles are paid.

The new show starts with a viral video that somehow leads to murder…. “What starts as a YouTube video going viral, soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.” MTV announced plans for the new Scream series around last Halloween over twitter.

The Scream series will star Willa Fitzgerald (“Alpha House,” “Royal Pains”), Amy Forsyth (“Torment,” “Reign”), John Karna, Carlson Young (“Key and Peele,” “The Kroll Show”) and Amadeus Serafini. The series pilot is directed by Jamie Travis (MTV’s “Faking It”). Wes Craven, the film series creator, is one of the executive producers on the show.
