Dirty Dancing National Tour

Laura Stanczyk Casting (Broadway casting director for Side Show, Follies, After Midnight, etc.) is seeking immediate replacements for the AEA tour of Dirty Dancing.
Seeking union AND non-union talent:
MALE ENSEMBLE DANCER/JOHNNY CASTLE UNDERSTUDY – Male, Caucasian, to play mid-20’s – early 30’s. DANCER – preferably someone from the world of ballet or modern dance who can act. Must be 5’11” or taller, handsome and masculine with excellent physique. DOES NOT SING.
FEMALE SINGER/DANCER SWING – Female, African American, 18-30 years old, excellent dancer, physically fit and flexible, with training in ballet and jazz. Ballroom and partnering experience a plus. Also needs to be a great singer with a strong high belt.

About the show:
Baby is one listless summer away from the Peace Corps. Hoping to enjoy her youth while it lasts, she’s disappointed when her summer plans deposit her at a sleepy resort in the Catskills with her parents. Her luck turns around, however, when the resort’s dance instructor, Johnny enlists Baby as his new partner, and the two fall in love. Baby’s father forbids her from seeing Johnny, but she’s determined to help him perform the last big dance of the summer.
