NCIS: New Orleans is looking to book lots of paid extras for a Mardi Gras scene filming in a few weeks.
The newest show in the NCIS franchise is filming the first season of the show. The police drama is set in New Orleans and the Mardi Gras is coming up. Caballero casting in NOLA is looking to cast male and female background actors who are 18+ to play the crazy Mardi Gras crowd in an episode of the show. While having some fun costumes is not required to be booked, it is a plus.
The show follows in the same genre as other shows in the franchise, investigators solve cases that affect military personel. Scott Bakula (Star Trek: Enterprise) stars as the lead investigator in the New Orleans branch of the Naval Crime Scene investigation unit. Agent Dwayne “King” Pride leads a team based out of the New Orleans’ NCIS field office, he is joined by leads agents Christopher LaSalle and Meredith “Merri” Brody. The team delves into the “Big Easy’s” darker side which also happens to be a prime destination for military personnel on leave.
The show is created by Gary Glasberg, executive produced by Glasberg and Mark Harmon who has been with the franchise since it began with the original NCIS. TVline reports that Executive Producer, Gary Glasberg announced multiple crossover episodes planned for the first season which began airing on CBS a few months back on September 23, 2014.

Costumes are not required but are encouraged (it is Mardi Gras after all!)
