Netflix New Series “Stanger Things” Casting For Recurring Featured Character Role in ATL

The new Netflix show “Stranger Things” is now filming in the Atlanta area and is looking to cast an actor to fill a featured, recurring role.

Casting directors with Taylor Made are seeking a Caucasian male with acne between the ages of 18 and 30 for what they describe as a great “character role”. The show films this fall and is scheduled to begin production next month in October. The actor cast will be working sometime between October 2015 and February 2016. The series is set in the 80s and also requires quite a few vintage cars. See both casting notices below.

Netflix’ “Stranger Things”  is a new supernatural themed streaming series.  “Stranger Things”  will star Winona Ryder and David Harbour. The streaming show is both written and directed by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (“Wayward Pines,” “Hidden”).  The show was previously called “Montauk” and originally set in the Long Island (Montauk) NY area.  A few month’s back, reports came out that the show made some changes including the setting. While “Stranger Things”  films in Atlanta, the series will  now be set in Indiana. The new show is expected to air on Netflix in 2016.
