The Orlando Actors Workshop

The Orlando Actors Workshop is currently accepting actors for its inaugural session. The Workshop is a safe, collaborative environment for actors to sharpen their skills. Monday nights will be devoted to monologue study and Tuesday nights will be devoted to a six-week intensive acting course, focusing duo scene work.
The workshop runs Mondays and Tuesdays from 7pm to 10pm.
Space is limited to 10 students per six week session.

MONDAYS
Actors come prepared with monologues they wish to use as audition pieces. They perform those monologues and get one-on-one guidance in order to make the piece work for them.
Monologue Slam – Cost: $ 25 per monologue. Actors enrolled in the main class can wave this fee.
TUESDAYS
6-week Acting Course. Actors are paired together and will begin rehearsing a scene. They will perform the piece each week and receive individualized direction. (Space is limited to 10 students per session.) Cost: $200 per six week session.
The director of the acting workshop is Ray Rogers. Ray is a Writer/Director originally from Orlando.
Ray began his career as an actor, training with The New York Acting Ensemble, under award-winning director Ken Eulo.
His first venture behind the scenes was as the founder and director of the ACT Actors Workshop in Athens, TN. The ACT Workshop ran a successful, year-long season.
Ray is also a comic book writer, currently acting as co-creator, (with John ‘Jax’ Jackman) of the forthcoming Megatonn City universe of comics.
