Another film just began production in the Atlanta area
“The Founder” will tell the story of how the McDonalds franchise came to be and it will star Michael Keaton as McDonalds founder, Ray Croc.
There is a new casting call out for featured extras who are available to work this week. The film’s extras casting directors at ECA are seeking to fill 2 “very Featured” roles of a 1950’s couple as well as that of a security guard and an African American couple. The movie is set in the 50’s and there are some strict costume restrictions that talent must fit. The project is also very interested in finding more classic cars from that era (1955 or older). See below for further details.
“The Founder” will be directed by John Lee Hancock (“Saving Mr. Banks,” “The Blind Side”) and Robert Siegel (“The Wrestler”) is writing the script. The movie tells the story of McDonalds Franchise mogul, Ray Croc who turned a SoCal burger joint owned by Mac and Dick McDonald into a worldwide, billion dollar fast food empire. The movie is set in the 50?s when the McDonald’s story began. Casting directors for the film are looking for extras who can pass as being from that time…. no modern haircuts, colors, piercings, tattoos, etc.
