New Casting Call for “Independence Day 2” Featured Roles in Moon Base Scene – NM

“Independence Day Forever”  is now filming in New Mexico and is seeking to fill some featured Roles for a moon base scene.

The movie is filming in and around the Albuquerque New Mexico area and looking for some locals to go to space…. well in the movie. OLC is now casting men and women ages 20 to 35 to play pilots and moon base staff in a scene filming next week.  The movie is looking for clean cut, conservative types. Male talent selected for the scenes will be required to get a military haircut and ladies cast must have natural hair.

“Independence Day 2“ is filming this summer and will be called “Independence Day Forever”. The film will reportedly be split into 2 parts.  “Independence Day Forever Part 1” to be released in theaters in the summer of 2016 and part 2 will follow in 2017. According to the film’s IMDB page, quite a few actors from the original cast will be returning.  Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. Fox,  Bill Pullman, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Liam Hemsworth, Travis Tope, Jessie Usher are all listed as starring in the new ID film.

“ID2” will be set 20 years after the original invasion… the aliens came in 1996 and will be returning in 2016. There is not too much out yet about the plot but it’s pretty safe to assume that they found out about the Earthlings whoopin’ up on their buddies and get mighty pissed off, threatening to destroy the world… once again.

We do not have call/wrap times so you would need to be fully 100% available on each work date. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $72.00 for 8 hours ($9.00/hour with a 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
Location is in the ALBUQUERQUE, NM area (Albuquerque Studios)

MOON BASE PILOTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 20-30, clean-cut, good looking, fit, athletic, muscular, confident

ALL MEN MUST BE WILLING TO LET US GIVE YOU A SHORT MILITARY STYLE HAIRCUT! Unless you already have very short hair, everyone WILL be given haircuts and will be paid $20 for the haircut. Ladies, as long as your hair is natural you will be fine without haircuts.
