The student film is looking to cast 3 roles (roles are non-paid). Seeking Asian American actors to play the roles of a mother, father and a child 7 to 10 years old.
A student BFA film set in modern day Bayside and Queens, Bulldog focuses on the life of Sean Kang and his daily struggles. Beginning with Sean’s anti-social and violent attitude towards his fellow classmates, he is forced to confront his estranged father resulting in a long overdue conversation and strong emotions and bitterness leaving Sean to take consolation in the only person he has left–his younger brother.
SEAN’S FATHER (Late 40’s): Asian American
A stern, emotionally distant businessman whose pragmatism often gets in the way of good parenting.
DILLON (7-10): Asian American
The ten year old younger brother of Sean.
SEAN’S MOTHER (Late 40’s): Asian American
A detached mother who neglects to her children. She spends most of her days lounging around wallowing in her self pity.
Multiple extras of any ethnicity and high school age will be needed
