America’s Largest Murder Mystery Dinner Show is seeking actors in Albuquerque, NM.

We are looking for actors, performers and improvisers that are comfortable interacting with audience members in semi-scripted situations. Our shows are set in a modern-day environment, and for the most part, you will be expected to blend in with the audience. You will not be asked to work every show, and we can accommodate most schedules.
All rehearsals take place immediately before shows, except in very special cases, and only actors who are scheduled to work a particular show need to be at that show’s rehearsal. All actors will receive compensation of $40 – $100 per role, and most actors will also receive full dinner service plus tips.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Voted Best Dinner Show and Best Improvised Show across the country, The Dinner Detective is America’s LARGEST murder mystery dinner show. We are excited to open Albuquerque, NM as our 39th location! We will be performing at the prestigious Hotel Andaluz, downtown Albuquerque’s premier historic boutique hotel. The show is semi-improvised, with the actors hidden among and interacting with the paying audience. Most shows take place on Saturday nights and run from 4:30 – 8:30 PM including rehearsals.
NOTE: You will not be serving the audience as waiters;
you will be performing/posing as an audience member!
WHAT TO PREPARE
This is an open audition. All attendees are to arrive no later than the above listed start time(s), and the auditions should not last longer than 60 – 90 minutes. We’ll be playing improv games, performing scenes and exercises, and talking as a group. No callbacks will be scheduled unless absolutely necessary.
