By | March 23, 2015

MERDE

Location: Berkeley California

coming up in one week!

OPEN CALL/AUDITION
Future Corps is seeking a baker’s dozen of tech/artist-builders and performers for MERDE, a site-specific experimental performance work to be built in and for our 3,000 ft gallery space in West Berkeley.

Catalyzed by principles of Cassavetes’ Direct Action Cinema, 1940’s Surrealism, the performance art structures of the 1970’s and 80’s and the intuitive theatre processes which produced the Blake Street Hawkeyes and the Magic Theater, co-conspirators producer Ross Warren and writer-director Mantra Plonsey together represent 43 years of experimental art experience.
