Ten strangers are invited to an isolated island off the southern coast of England for a weekend. They don’t know each other, but they are all hiding something. Does one of them know their secrets? And, if so, who? That’s the setting for Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery – “And Then There Were None”. One by one – and in accordance with a classic children’s rhyme – the guests meet their fates and the decorative toy soldiers on the mantel disappear. Who will be next? More importantly, who will survive?
This is the premise behind one of Dame Agatha’s most beloved mysteries. Auditions for this classic whodunit will be held at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, February 4th from 7:00 to 8:30 and on Saturday, February 7th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Bring your accents and your desire to keep the audience guessing. Auditions will consist of readings from the script and interviews. Please be willing to do part of your reading with an accent from anywhere in the British Isles. The cast consists of 8 men and 3 women; all roles are open. This is a non-paying role.
