Seeking four Male Actors Teens – 20’s who sing and dance & & Male Adults 35 – 60’s for Footloose. Rehearsals begin June for July 23rd opening for Acting Naturally Repertory Company. Please prepare a Musical Theatre song, cold readings from the script. Bring picture & resume’ 10 shows scheduled opening July 23rd. Show Dates are July 23rd at 7:30, July 24th at 8, July 25th at 4 & 8, July 26th at 3pm, July 30th at 7:30, July 31st at 8, Aug 1st at 4 & 8, Aug 2nd @3 in Langhorne, Pa. Rehearsals Thursdays 7:00 – 9:30, Saturdays 10:00 – 2:00 & Sundays 2:00 – 6:00pm.
Not every actor is called for every rehearsal. Ren McCormack: teens – 20s, witty, full of energy, city raised Willard Hewitt: teens – 20s a gentle soul with quick fists, Humorous, a great friend Chuck Cranston: teens – 20s Self-assured, cocky, a bully. Lyle & Travis: teens – 20s, Chuck’s buddies. Love a good laugh. Coach Roger Dunbar: 40s – 60s, high school gym teacher. Loves to bully his students. Wes Warnicker: 40s – 60s, Ren’s uncle. Has little tolerance for the kids of the town. Principal Harry Clark: 30s – 60s, Tough & regimental. Jeter, Bickle, & Garvin: teens – 20s, Ren’s friends – confident, energetic, fun.
