“A Pirate’s Tale ” Seeks Actors Who Sing in Pittsburgh

Call for Actors who Sing

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Type: Theater

A Pirate’s Tale – a swashbuckling new musical from Dhaun Rolly and Paul Shapera – sets sail in Pittsburgh again this summer.

Seeking:
Non-equity actors who sing to fill both lead and supporting roles. Dance and stage combat proficiency required.

Pay: $50 stipend per show, paid after each performance.

Auditions:
Monday, March 23, 2015 and Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 7-9pm
At the Gateway Clipper Fleet in Station Square

Appointments highly encouraged, and can be booked through the Pirate’s Tale website or by emailing a request to piratestalemusical@gmail.com. Please include a headshot and resume if submitting via email.

Prepare:
32 bars of a song of your choosing and a 1 minute monologue. Auditioners will participate in a movement call, so please bring a change of clothes and sneakers or jazz shoes.
Please provide a headshot and resume for the production team upon arrival.
