Restaurant Startup is Now Casting America’s Next Culinary Stars

DOES YOUR RESTAURANT OR FOOD CONCEPT DESERVE AN INVESTMENT?

CNBC’s new show, Restaurant Startup, is on a quest to discover, develop, and invest in America’s next generation of culinary superstars.

Restaurant Startup is a competition reality show that combines a food show with a Shark Tank type investors. Celebrity restaurateurs Joe Bastianich and Tim Love are looking to invest money in a great new restaurant concept. Two teams will compete to come up with the best idea and the celebrity restaurateur investors must then choose a team to refine their original concept and re-pitch the idea. The team that makes the first cut will have 36 hours and $7500 to work on their concept, come up with a menu as well as the design for the eatery of their dreams.

The show’s producers and casting directors are seeking the next, great restaurant concept. The show is looking for restaurateurs or those who would like to be one. The show is taking submissions and hoping to find restaurant concepts with 2 or more owners as well as people who already have some “skin in the game”. People who are looking to open their first restaurant and those who already own one and are now looking to expand are all welcome to apply for a chance to get cast for the show and maybe even make their culinary dreams a reality.

Restaurant moguls JOE BASTIANICH and TIM LOVE vie against each other to invest their own money in concepts they think can make big profits. Antonia LoFaso serves as their culinary consultant.
