New Casting Call for “Barbershop 3” in Atlanta

“Barbershop 3” is filming in Atlanta and urgently needs to fill a few upcoming roles.

Casting directors for the Ice Cube movie are looking to cast quite a few different small / extras roles for “Barbershop 3“.  The movie is seeking to fill a variety of roles including model types, plus model types, high school teens, Asian and other roles.

Malcolm D. Lee is directing the film which is being produced by Ice Cube, Bob Teitel and George Tillman Jr. All three men were also part of the previous “Barbershop” movies.  Barbershop 3 continues the story of  a man who comes to inherit his father’s / grandfather’s barbershop on Chicago’s South Side. Initially, he doesn’t seem to care about his new business but eventually comes to love the shop and learns a life lesson about the importance of community.

According to the film’s IMDB page, Ice Cube, Nicki Minaj, Queen Latifah, Garcelle Beauvais, Cedric the Entertainer, Troy Garity, Sean Patrick Thomas and Eve are all part of the cast. Kenya Barris (Black-ish) and Tracy Oliver are writing the film and the IMDB page does not yet have a plot description or story for the project. The new Ice Cube movie is filming in the Atlanta area.
