Rush Call – Feature Film “Presto” Starring James Franco and Emma Roberts Casting Extras in NY

Movie extras wanted in NYC

The thriller is filming in NYC and seeking talent in the area to play ‘Watchers’, a group of masked individuals who manipulate and watch others perform dares.

GWC in NYC is looking for a group of extras who can pull off a seriously creepy look as a watcher. The watcher is an anonymous, creepy looking individual dressed in dark clothing and wearing a ski-mask. In the film, they are a group who watch others perform sometimes violent and dangerous dares. Extras cast for the roles will not be recognizable on camera as they will be fully covered in clothing. Talent applying must be able to supply their own creepy wardrobe which consists of a dark hoodie, a ski mask, a bandana and dark colored pants. Talent must be OK with heights and available to do an overnight shoot tomorrow night in Staten Island, NYC.

“Catfish” directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are behind the new thriller. The film is called “Presto”  which was previously called “Nerve”  and is based on Jeanne Ryan’s young-adult novel “Nerve”.  In “Presto” / “Nerve” a high school student gets involved in an online game of truth or dare where every move ends up being manipulated by an anonymous community of ‘watchers.’. The film is described as a thriller with a screen play adapted by Jessica Sharzer( “American Horror Story”).

Seeking NONUNION to portray a “Watcher” of Thrilling (Possibly Violent) Dares on feature film Presto (formerly known as Nerve). Shooting in Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY. OVERNIGHT EXTERIOR scenes. Spring season.

Works WEDNESDAY 5/6/15. Must be 18+ to work. Must live in tri-state area. Must be okay with heights up to two stories.

**You must also wear your own clothing (wardrobe will not be provided). The vibe is super creepy and anonymous.

The costume department is looking for people to have a dark-colored outfit, as well as a bright/vibrant-colored option. MUST HAVE a hoodie or any jacket with a hood AND a bandanna, balaclava or ski mask, or Halloween mask. Everyone must be ok with having your face at least partially covered. Must be okay providing dirty wardrobe or having wardrobe dirtied by production.”**
